Mediation allows for a third party to help resolve conflicts in a structured and safe environment. Mediation is not only a more affordable option when compared to a traditional court setting, but it’s a less adversarial way to a reach a solution. I conduct mediations primarily for divorce. But, mediation is also an option to resolve other types of family disputes as well as workplace or neighborhood disputes.
Divorce mediation
Perhaps you and your partner are faced with the decision to improve the quality of your relationship or may have decided to start the process for divorce. If you feel there is still hope to salvage your relationship, or you still love your partner, then Mediation may be your best approach.
The process
I will provide each of you with a safe and non judgmental place to share your intimate concerns with each other. It’s been my experience that couples need assistance in overcoming their crisis to restore a relationship. It’s common to feel vulnerable and weak when you first begin the process of divorce. I will assist you both in communicating effectively to each other over a two hour mediation session for as many sessions as you need to resolve the complicated layers of divorce.
