Are you or your child experiencing sadness, lonliness, or constant worry? Maybe you are under a lot of stress, whether it is financial, marital, family or work related. Transitions in life could be the cause of some of these symptoms as well. Perhaps you are dealing with chronic pain and are having difficulty accepting that you have a chronic illness. Psychotherapy may be meant for you.
In my psychotherapy practice my clients range in ages from 5 and older for individual and family therapy. When I work with children, I use a family systems approach so parents are included in the process. I feel it is crucial to hear a parents perspective as well as the school the child attends if they are experiencing school issues such as bullying or school refusal. I use a Cognitive Behavioral approach or exposure therapy when I work with clients experiencing symptoms of anxiety, OCD or mood disorders such as, depression or bipolar disorder. Whether you are interested in short term therapy or long term therapy. I will tailor the therapy to fit your individual needs.
"Life is ten percent what you experience and ninety percent how you respond to it."
