Perhaps you or your partner are faced with the decision to improve the quality of your relationship or may have decided to start the process for divorce. If you feel there is still hope to salvage your relationship or if you still love your partner, then psychotherapy may be your best approach. I will provide each of you a safe and nonjudgemental place to share your intimate concerns with each other. Typically after 4 sessions we will evaluate your progress and discuss the next steps to take.
Mediation is the right process for you to explore if it's difficult to get your point across to your partner. Or if communication always ends in an argument. Mediation allows for a third party to help you resolve your conflicts in a structured and safe way. Its been my experience that couples need assistance in overcoming their crisis to restore a relationship. It's common to feel vulnerable and weak when you first begin the process of divorce. I will assist you both in communicating effectively to each other over a 2 hour mediation session for as many sessions as you need to resolve the complicated layers of a divorce. It has been proven that mediation has a better outcome for all parties over a traditional court setting. Mediation is also a more affordable option when compared with traditional family court as well as a less adversarial way to reach a resolution.
"There are some things you learn best in calm, and some in a storm."
